The only live performing arts series on television, Live From Lincoln Center brings the best of Lincoln Center to living rooms throughout America. For more than two decades, this Emmy Award-winning, live public television program has presented world-class performances--from Yo-Yo Ma, Emanuel Ax and Friends to the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis.
LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER opens its virtual online stage door for a personal visit with performers from its broadcasts:
- September 22, 2005: From Lincoln Center producer John Goberman in conversation with artists performing on the September 22nd broadcast, featuring Lang Lang on piano.
- July 28, 2005: From Lincoln Center producer John Goberman talking with soprano Renée Fleming (about Mozart and Handel arias) and with conductor Louis Langrée about what a concert at Mozart's house was like.
- June 15, 2005: From Lincoln Center producer John Goberman talking with violinist Gil Shaham about the Sibelius Violin Concerto, and some biographical material on Sibelius.
